Workers over 50 already comprise 27 per cent of the workforce in the UK, and by 2020 that number is expected to grow to one-third, according to the Department for Work & Pensions. Due to increased life expectancy and the removal of the mandatory retirement age (in 2011), employers are experiencing an ageing workforce like never before.
