AAI50 Advanced Accounts Interface for Sage 50

The Advanced Accounts Interface (AAI 50) module is designed to integrate 123insight Sales Order Processing and Purchase Order Processing with the Sage 50 Accounts Sales and Purchase ledgers by importing invoices and credit notes, and exporting customer and supplier details.

There are also versions of this software available for Pegasus Opera II and Pegasus Opera 3 Sage 50 financials are updated with information provided by the 123insight Sales Order and Purchase Order Processing systems.

The link will also draw details of customer and supplier information from the ledgers, together with all the parameter settings. Likewise, the Nominal ledger is interrogated with regards to the existence of specified nominal accounts through the Sales and Purchase analysis codes. Other tables such as VAT rates, currencies, and country codes are checked to ensure complete verification and data integrity during the transfer.

Validation

During the batch mode transfer, the transactional data is validated during the loading process. An option exists to transfer the validated data directly into Sage 50 Accounts. Data may be converted to allow matching of codes between the source system and the Sage 50 Accounts system. As an example, country codes, currency codes, VAT codes etc. may all be converted in this way.

Amending Transactional

Information AAI 50 provides the user with the ability to modify certain defined fields within transactions prior to transferring them into Sage 50 Accounts. Each time the user modifies a transaction it is validated again, and displays any outstanding errors.

Transfer Wizard

The complete process of Importing and Updating Sage 50 with AAI 50 can be carried out efficiently using the Transfer Wizard. The other options are still available and can be used if the records need to be edited due to an error. The Transfer Wizard automatically updates the Sage 50 Sales or Purchase ledgers. It reports on the number of successful transactions transferred to the appropriate ledger and it also shows the number of transactions that failed at validation.

Reporting

AAI 50 provides the user with extensive validation information in the form of reports, together with other audit trails and listings.

Installation and Licenses

There is a one-off installation fee of £250 for the initial install. After the 1st licence, all subsequent licences are charged at 50% of the licence fee. After the initial install, all subsequent installs are charged at £95
